Performance Bio

Patricia Zarate began playing the saxophone at 13 in her native Chile. At 20, she moved to the United States to pursue her undergraduate studies at Berklee College of Music and later earned her Master's degree at New York University. She has studied with esteemed saxophonists such as Jerry Bergonzi, Jackie McLean, and George Garzone and has been profoundly influenced by the teachings of Wayne Shorter. Since her teen years, Patricia has performed at diverse events and stages with various bands. Her performances span North, Central, and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, participating in numerous festivals and celebrations around the globe. 

Patricia Zárate comenzó a tocar el saxofón a los 13 años en su natal Chile. A los 20, se mudó a los Estados Unidos para realizar sus estudios universitarios en Berklee College of Music y más tarde obtuvo su maestría en la Universidad de Nueva York. Ha estudiado con saxofonistas de renombre como Jerry Bergonzi, Jackie McLean y George Garzone, y ha sido profundamente influenciada por las enseñanzas de Wayne Shorter. Desde su adolescencia, Patricia ha actuado en diversos eventos y escenarios con varias bandas.
